The official Twitter account of the Naruto brand (@NARUTO_info_en) has unveiled the results of the first round of the special #NARUTOP99 tournament. This tournament allows fans to vote for their favorite ninjas.
Ninjas are a beloved element of Naruto, playing a significant role in the success of this brand. Nearly all characters in Naruto rely on chakra and techniques to develop their skills. However, there are also some exceptions where chakra is not required.
The types of ninjas in Naruto are classified into five main categories: Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, and Lightning, corresponding to the five natural elements: Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, and Lightning.
With a total of 692,923 votes cast, below are the top 10 ninjas in Naruto that received the most votes.
This tournament is a global event. Therefore, participants in the voting include Naruto fans from all around the world, not just those in Japan.
10. Shadow Possession Jutsu (Kagemane no Jutsu) – 22,560 votes
Kagemane no Jutsu is developed in the anime, allowing the user to manipulate shadows along with a target. Unlike other ninjutsu, the shadow remains entirely within the user’s control, making it a unique form of technique that allows the user to recognize when their shadow comes into contact with the target.
9. Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms (Hakke Rokujūyon Shō) – 26,048 votes
The Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms is a signature technique of the Hyuga clan. With the 360-degree vision of the Byakugan, the user creates a circular chakra field that acts as the center. When the target enters this chakra field, they will be struck by all subsequent attacks from the user.
