While the Pokémon GO craze is still in full swing, Pokémon fans in Vietnam received some exciting news. The animated feature film Pokémon XY&Z: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel is set to be released in theaters across the country.
Officially titled Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, this is the 19th installment in the popular franchise, as well as the final chapter of the Pokémon: XY series.
The film is directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, with the script written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, and it is scheduled to premiere in Japan in mid-July.

In this latest adventure, Satoshi and his friends explore the mysterious Cogsworth region, where they uncover valuable hidden treasures. However, Satoshi inadvertently gets entangled with the legendary Pokémon Volcanion – a creature with a grudge against humans.
The story continues to unfold as the region’s guardian discovers and captures the artificial Pokémon Magiana, which is intended to be used to control the entire Cogsworth region.
Satoshi and Volcanion must quickly unite to overcome the challenges posed by the upcoming battle, the largest in Pokémon history.

Moreover, viewers will also get the chance to enjoy the original soundtrack performed by singer YUKI. In this 19th animated feature of Pokémon, she contributes a song titled Mailing out My Voice.
After its Japanese premiere in July, the film accumulated a remarkable $4.6 million within three days, attracting 430,987 viewers.
Pokémon XY&Z: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel is set to launch in Vietnam starting from October 21.
