Recently, Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer for Berserk (full title: Berserk and the Band of the Hawk). Notably, the trailer showcases some stunning scenes featuring a character that appears to be “grappling” with a monstrous entity.
Although the character only appears for a few seconds, the “grappling” scenes are striking enough to leave us intrigued about the level of “brutality” present in Berserk. Additionally, this new game trailer also highlights a focus on the reactions of female characters, which adds an emotional depth that captivates viewers.
It’s worth noting that Berserk is based on a popular manga of the same name, well-known in Japan. The gameplay in the game is designed to be reminiscent of the intense combat style found in Dynasty Warriors.
Berserk is set to be released on October 27 in the Japanese market for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. As for the English version, there is currently no confirmed release date from Koei Tecmo, but we know that the game will also have a PC version available via Steam.
