The game currently causing a stir in this conversation is Assassin’s Creed Origins – a title that has become the center of controversy.
As part of the renowned Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Origins is also a project that promises high quality. However, it is rather surprising that instead of receiving positive reviews from users on Steam, Assassin’s Creed Origins is now drowning in negative feedback.

To put it bluntly, the situation of Assassin’s Creed Origins is not something that the game publisher can control.
The story began in November 2024, when players of Assassin’s Creed Origins raised concerns about performance issues while playing the game on PC. However, this is not just a problem specific to this title, as many other Ubisoft titles have also encountered performance issues with PCs running Windows 11, especially after the recent 24H2 update. Two other Assassin’s Creed titles, Valhalla and Odyssey, also faced performance issues, while the recently released Star Wars Outlaws received several temporary fixes.

The issue of Assassin’s Creed Origins is particularly pressing. It has been three months since the last update was released, and there are still no solutions for many different problems that are frustrating players of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Many gamers are even unable to launch the game, citing numerous reports of issues such as black screens, connection failures, repetitive NPC dialogues, and crashes. Therefore, despite the fact that it has been discounted up to 90% during the recent Steam Winter Sale, Assassin’s Creed Origins remains a title that many players avoid.

The majority of current gamers are urging Ubisoft to improve the game, warning others to stay away from Assassin’s Creed Origins, or if they still want to play, they should check their Windows Update version before purchasing. Otherwise, if they want to experience a game that they can’t play for more than 15 minutes continuously, it’s still a matter of choice for gamers.
