In the realm of popular culture, major franchises have captivated audiences worldwide, especially with high-budget Live-Action film adaptations. Launched in 2017, Power Rangers stands as a notable entry alongside the DC Comics superhero universe, which has been actively collaborating to release a joint comic series this year.
According to recent updates, a collaborative comic featuring superheroes from both franchises will debut in January 2017. The Justice League team, which includes iconic characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern, will join forces with the Power Rangers team, consisting of Zack, Kimberly, Jason, Trini, Tommy, and Billy, to combat evil and save the world.
This joint comic series will be scripted by acclaimed writer Tom Taylor (known for his work on Injustice: Gods Among Us and Green Lantern Corps: Edge of Oblivion), with illustrations by Stephen Byrne (previously involved in Justice League of America Rebirth: The Ray).
The storyline is set in Angel Grove, where the Power Rangers’ headquarters faces destruction. Black Ranger – Zack finds himself transported to an alternate dimension where superheroes reside, yet they seem to be in dire circumstances (likely involving our Justice League). Will the remaining members of the Power Rangers be able to rescue Zack from… Batman?
Stay tuned for the release of this exciting new comic series on January 11, 2017, to discover how the crossover unfolds!
