Audience Discovers “Disaster” after Doran Joins T1
On the evening of January 4, T1 officially released a clip announcing their new roster for the 2025 season. While the roster changes were disclosed beforehand, the audience’s focus turned to T1’s new jersey design. The discussions quickly escalated when this new jersey was deemed to have a poor aesthetic appeal.

Specifically, many fans noticed Doran had been associated with a “disaster” in several past seasons. Whenever he joined a new team, there would inevitably be at least one instance where the team’s jersey design would face significant criticism from the audience.
The first instance was with Gen.G, where their 2022 World Championship jersey received backlash from fans. Next, during the 2024 season when Doran joined Hanwha Life Esports, the vibrant orange jersey also attracted negative feedback. And now, it has come to T1.

Doran and T1 Will Face Many Challenges in the New Season
Alongside the jersey design issues, it is clear that Doran will have to tackle the pressure of being a key player in a team famous for its rich history in League of Legends. This is both a heavy burden and a new challenge for Doran. T1 will be unlike any team Doran has previously played for, as they will be under constant scrutiny from fans, more so than usual.

Furthermore, Doran’s role replacing Zeus – a player who was regarded as an essential part of T1’s structure – adds to the intensity of the situation. Doran’s arrival is also linked to the ongoing drama regarding the team’s roster, and many fans are eagerly anticipating Doran’s debut performance against Zeus in the upcoming season when T1 faces Hanwha Life Esports in both domestic and international competitions.
