It has been 15 years since Vin Diesel first portrayed the character Xander Cage in the action film series xXx. After a long hiatus from this role and passing the lead to Ice Cube, Diesel’s character has made a triumphant return in the film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
To promote the upcoming film, the production team has released a stunning series of new posters featuring the main cast, including, of course, Vin Diesel. This charismatic action star is sure to deliver thrilling scenes that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
For those unfamiliar, while xXx may not be Vin Diesel’s most critically acclaimed work, it certainly left a strong impression on audiences with its spectacular action sequences and grand visuals.
The main character of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is a soldier and super spy, Xander Cage (played by Vin Diesel), who is under the command of NSA’s August Gibbons (played by Samuel L. Jackson) to carry out new missions.
However, in this latest installment, Xander Cage faces a formidable opponent, a notorious criminal with incredible strength – Xiang (played by Donnie Yen). This isn’t just a typical villain; he’s a powerful warrior who possesses skills that rival even the best spies.
The film’s leading lady is Deepika Padukone, portraying the beautiful yet formidable warrior, Serena.
Additionally, we will see the character Adele, portrayed by Ruby Rose, who will serve as an invaluable ally to Xander Cage during the upcoming battles. If you are not familiar, Rose has previously appeared in other action-packed films like Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and John Wick: Chapter 2, so fans can rest assured her action style will fit perfectly within this third installment of xXx.
The film is set to be completed and released on January 20, 2017.
