Starting from January 24, the Music Director of DUSTED Recordings, DSMALL, will release a DJ mix that promises to keep you dancing. Alongside this, listeners can also enjoy curated playlists selected by Gen Z stars like Wren Evans, who shares his musical journey through moments and emotions from his life. HIEUTHUHAI brings a powerful emotional touch, while AMEE creates a serene atmosphere with songs that have shaped her artistic journey.
Wren Evans
Wren Evans, whose real name is Lê Phan, born in 2001, is an emerging star in the music scene. He is the grandson of People’s Artist Phan Muôn and has been exposed to music from a young age, mastering piano and guitar despite his family’s desire for him to become a teacher. His passion for music has led to success, with his debut song “Thích Em Hơi Nhiều” quickly topping the charts. Wren’s debut album in 2023, “Loi Choi,” has solidified his presence with a philosophy of “New Gen Playboy,” earning him prestigious awards, including Album of the Year at the Green Wave Awards. “Loi Choi” also topped the charts in Vietnam in 2024, and his song “Từng Quen” received recognition at the WeChoice Awards.
Regarding the meaning of his playlist, Wren shares: “This playlist reflects the moments and emotions through melodies in my life. The diversity in musical influences is my way of honoring the existence of music; without music, there is no Wren. Each song in this list serves as an inspiration for my works.”
HIEUTHUHAI
The contestant from “King of Rap” turned superstar, Trần Minh Hiếu, known as HIEUTHUHAI, has made a mark in the Vietnamese music scene. As the leader of the rap group GERDNANG, with a distinctive vocal style and captivating stage presence, he has attracted a significant fan base. HIEUTHUHAI’s success peaked in 2023 with multiple wins at the Green Wave and WeChoice Awards, followed by triumphs at the “Anh Trai Say Hi 2024” competition, establishing him as a leading figure in Vietnamese music.

AMEE
Vietnamese singer and performer AMEE (Trần Huyền My) has captured the public’s attention since her debut in the music industry. Her first song “Anh Nhà Ở Đâu Thế” released in 2019 quickly became a hit, earning AMEE widespread recognition. This rising star continues to solidify her status in the industry by winning the Best New Artist award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2020.
AMEE shares her thoughts on her playlist: “I often listen to this playlist to unwind after a long day at work and to get ready for a fresh start. I hope to share this playlist with my fans so that they can find a cozy atmosphere and enjoy the songs that have become part of my life.”
