Oshi no Ko is a manga series created by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The series was first published in April 2020 in the Weekly Young Jump magazine, and just one year later, it made its debut in the top 10 of the Manga Taishou – an annual manga award in Japan.
This popular manga and anime have perfectly captured the dark side of the entertainment industry. The anime adaptation premiered spectacularly in 2023 and quickly rose to the top of the rankings based on viewership numbers.
The second season of the anime recently concluded on October 6, 2024, and shortly thereafter, the film studio confirmed the production of a third season.
While the anime continues, the manga has just announced its final volume release date. The manga currently has 162 chapters and will conclude with chapter 166.
The final arc, titled “Toward the Stars and Dreams,” follows the aftermath of the film “The 15-Year Lie.” The members of B-Komachi pursue their ambitions and strategize for the next steps, leading to a climactic battle against Hikaru Kamiki and revealing the true nature of the dark melody that surrounds them.

Additional information: “The final chapter of the Oshi no Ko manga will be published on November 14, 2024, in the Weekly Young Jump magazine! The concluding volume will be released on December 18, 2024!”
