Many Bombing Games “Fly Color” on Mobile After TikTok Ban
Recently, the story of TikTok being banned on Mobile has not gone unnoticed, especially within the gaming community. On January 18, the social network officially announced the cessation of its operations after a prolonged battle. This decision has sparked significant controversy, particularly as TikTok has become too popular, making it a hotbed for users in the Mobile gaming community to engage in illicit activities.

The sudden removal of TikTok has created a shockwave in the community; however, this also directly impacts the gaming market on Mobile. Following this shift, many bombing games developed by Moonton have been launched immediately after TikTok’s exit.

The main reason lies in the fact that Moonton is a subsidiary of ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok. ByteDance’s withdrawal from the Mobile market has also dragged along many subsidiaries like Moonton, which is facing a common fate. To clarify, Moonton is currently owning many attractive IPs, including titles like One Punch Man – The Strongest, Watcher of Realms, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Mobile Legends: Adventure…
TikTok’s Return to Mobile: What Will the Game Publishers Do?
However, just one day after the “ban,” TikTok quickly returned to Mobile with the support of former President Donald Trump. Later, this morning (January 20), Donald Trump was reported to have assisted in reversing the ban.

Following the ban on TikTok’s operations on Mobile, many bombing games remained on the platform and updated their notifications to the gaming community. On the official website of Mobile Legends: Adventure, the development team posted the following message:
“Mobile Legends: Adventure is currently unavailable.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Mobile Legends: Adventure is currently not accessible to players in the United States.
We genuinely appreciate the continued support of our gaming community and are actively exploring options to restore gameplay in the future.
In the meantime, you can continue to manage your account and access your game data on our official website.
Thank you for being part of our community, and we hope to meet you again soon.”
Currently, these games have been completely removed from the Mobile platforms. It is clear that the abrupt exit has left many game developers confused and disappointed. TikTok has returned to Mobile, but the fate of the game publishers under ByteDance still remains uncertain.
