Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is undoubtedly one of the most famous manga and anime franchises in the world today. Its initial development has created a strong impact on the global manga/anime community.
The adventures of Tanjiro and Nezuko can be likened to the legendary emergence of Dragon Ball in the entertainment world. This recognition is a significant honor for mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge, who is a devoted fan of the works of Akira Toriyama. Moreover, a social media user recently employed artificial intelligence (AI) to create a stunning visual representation featuring Kimetsu No Yaiba characters depicted in the distinctive style of Akira Toriyama from Dragon Ball Z.

In the image above, we can see that the characters from Kimetsu No Yaiba still retain the distinctive traits of their original work, but with subtle details that distinctly correspond to Dragon Ball Z. The transformation is particularly evident in the hairstyles of one character. The AI-generated visuals feature a golden hair color reminiscent of the Super Saiyan transformation—a symbolic state from Dragon Ball.
At the end of December 2021, Koyoharu Gotouge, the creator of Kimetsu No Yaiba, also recreated the cover page of volume 32 of Dragon Ball as part of a Shueisha campaign celebrating the upcoming 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball.

On the cover, Bulma, Future Trunks, and Baby Trunks appear, related to the Cell Saga.

In the illustration by Koyoharu Gotouge, the mangaka has added a very important character to this family, namely Vegeta. The Saiyan prince does not appear on the cover created by Akira Toriyama. It can be seen that Vegeta is present but does not dominate the scene, standing alongside Bulma and their future son. Witnessing the family dynamic of Vegeta through the lens of Koyoharu Gotouge’s artistic style is truly remarkable.
