The Movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is Finally Here
Fans have long awaited the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which is set to hit the big screen soon. The film will focus on the story of Shadow, featuring Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails as they strive to overcome a new formidable foe from space.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 sees the return of Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey reprising their key roles. Jim Carrey will also return, this time as the double role of Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Gerald Robotnik. Notably, Keanu Reeves has joined the cast as the voice of Shadow.
However, Reeves is not the only notable voice associated with this character. René García, the Spanish voice actor known for voicing Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, has been confirmed as the Spanish voice for Shadow.

This connection creates an exciting synergy between two legendary franchises and their characters. Despite being part of the Z Fighters, Vegeta embarks on a personal journey on Earth as a character actor. Over time, the Saiyan prince has adopted a role as a good guy, yet still retains a “dark shadow” within him.
García is not the only voice actor from the Dragon Ball universe stepping into the Sonic realm. Mario Castañeda, the Spanish voice of Goku, will also lend his voice to Dr. Ivo Robotnik, also known as Eggman, in the upcoming film.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3: A Highly Anticipated Live-Action Film

In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic will face off against a new enemy – Shadow. Shadow is a character who bears a striking resemblance to Sonic, and even visually shares many traits, including his dark color and distinct features. While Sonic has found his family and friends, Shadow only possesses a sense of loneliness and a haunting presence.
The trio of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles will join forces to confront Shadow and uncover the enemy’s extraordinary abilities. Not only does Shadow possess incredible speed similar to Sonic, with his unique footwear design, but he also has the ability to levitate in a normal state.
In the original lore, Shadow is regarded as an anti-hero (a character who is neither entirely good nor entirely bad) with a mysterious past and intense personality. This surely makes him a character that creates significant challenges for Sonic.
Knowing they cannot defeat Shadow alone, Sonic and his two friends must seek help to confront their enemy, “Dr. Robotnik” – the evil scientist. Following the events of the second film, Dr. Robotnik (played by Jim Carrey) has become more devious and cunning. However, a chance encounter with Sonic’s team will assist Robotnik in reclaiming his lost essence, albeit under the condition that Sonic must face a significant moral dilemma.
