The Twelve Kizuki are powerful and notable antagonists in Kimetsu No Yaiba. They serve as the strongest demons under Kibutsuji Muzan, with a longevity spanning centuries. These formidable foes have been depicted as merciless killers, demonstrating their prowess in combat and their predatory nature in various arcs throughout the series.
The Kimetsu No Yaiba anime/manga has created a significant impact within the anime community since its release, yet there has yet to be a live-action adaptation in development.

The latest film, titled “Kimetsu No Yaiba: To the Swordsmith Village,” was released in 2023 and covers the arcs of the “Entertainment District” and “Swordsmith Village.”
A stage adaptation focusing on the Swordsmith Village arc is currently underway, continuing the traditional storytelling of Tanjiro and Nezuko. This production will showcase the demons from the Swordsmith Village arc as they interact with the physical world.
After events in the Entertainment District, Kamado Tanjiro arrives in a village known for its swordsmiths to have his sword repaired by Haganezuka, the swordsmith responsible for maintaining his weapon. This village is a secluded area where the finest swords are forged, utilizing materials from the surrounding mountains.
While waiting for his sword to be repaired, Tanjiro dedicates his time to training and honing his skills. During his time there, he meets two Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito, who play key roles in protecting the village.



However, tranquility does not last long. Two of the Upper Moons have infiltrated the village. Gyokko, the Upper Rank demon, is known for his artistic creations that hold deadly capabilities, while Hantengu possesses clones with varying personalities.

Additionally, “Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Castle” has been announced to be released in 2025. Fans are eagerly anticipating this first film installment that will delve into the Infinity Castle – the domain of Muzan Kibutsuji, where the Twelve Kizuki engage in some of the most intense battles seen to date.
