Solo Leveling Makes Its Grand Entrance into Anime This Winter 2024
Solo Leveling is set to premiere this winter 2024, quickly becoming one of the most anticipated anime of the year.
Following the success of its first season, the production of this anime has promptly moved on to its second season, officially titled Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow.
The enthusiasm from fans for Solo Leveling season 2 has been clearly evident since the first season concluded in March. Sung Jinwoo’s victory over Igris and his ascension to Shadow Monarch hinted at an exciting journey for the character as he rises from a low-level hero to a formidable warrior.
Atsushi Kaneko, the producer at A-1 Pictures, recently revealed on Twitter that the voice recording for all episodes of the second season has been completed. According to him, the team is progressing with “rapid speed,” which is quite encouraging.
“The voice recording for all episodes has been successfully completed! There are many things I cannot disclose, but first and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the voice actors for their diligent work.” This was stated in Atsushi Kaneko’s post.
He also mentioned that they are currently navigating through various challenges before adding, “Please wait a bit longer until there is new information.”

What Fans Can Expect from Solo Leveling
Previously, we had a sneak peek trailer for Solo Leveling season 2 released in July, just a few months after the conclusion of the first season. This indicates that the production process for the anime is advancing at a robust pace, and it seems like the schedule is on track.
The gap between anime seasons can often be quite lengthy, leaving fans waiting for shows like One Punch Man season 3 to know what’s next. However, with Solo Leveling, there is no need for anyone to wait too long for what’s coming next. Fortunately, “Arise” will truly be a pivotal chapter in Sung Jinwoo’s story.

Moreover, producer Sota Furuhashi has indicated that Solo Leveling season 2 will have some distinct differences compared to the first season. This time, instead of focusing solely on the main character Sung Jinwoo, the story will also spotlight supporting characters, providing viewers with a more comprehensive view of the Solo Leveling universe in the second season. Some of the returning characters include Cha Hae-in, Yoo Jinho, Choi Jong-in, and Baek Yoonho, among others.
The audience’s appreciation for the first season is something the production team aims to maintain, and A-1 Pictures is diligently working to achieve that. Solo Leveling Season 2 is expected to premiere at the end of 2024, but no confirmed information has been released yet.
