Bin’s Performance Review: Not Yet Comparable to Zeus
As the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2024) approaches, Bin has boldly declared himself the best top laner in the world. This statement quickly sparked numerous responses from fans and analysts alike, particularly regarding his rivalry with Zeus. The reality, however, has shown that Bin’s self-confidence is somewhat misplaced, especially following BLG’s defeat to T1 and the disappointing results in the lead-up to the Worlds.

Recently, BLG released a documentary spanning approximately 55 minutes, summarizing their challenging season in 2024. However, after watching this video, fans noted several weaknesses in Bin’s gameplay. Specifically, Bin’s performance has been criticized for lacking adaptability and flexibility during matches. This has led fans in the LPL (League of Legends Pro League) to conclude that he cannot yet be considered on par with Zeus.

“After watching BLG’s documentary, I realized Bin’s performance was indeed underwhelming. Our team will always struggle against a player as smart as Zeus unless we improve. Zeus even has the ability to outsmart Bin and capitalize on mistakes, which is why Bin will likely never be on the same level as Zeus unless he changes,” shared an LPL fan on the Hupu forum.

Bin Needs Significant Changes to Compete with Zeus
In recent livestreams, SofM also pointed out Bin’s overly cautious playstyle when he was still on Suning. He even suggested that in 1v1 matchups, Bin might have benefited from taking more risks. The crux of the issue is that Bin tends to focus entirely on the laning phase and struggles with aspects like timely rotations and map movements.

While Zeus has become a role model for top laners across the league with his impressive ability to adapt to various meta shifts, Bin has struggled to perform under pressure in recent years. This adaptability has allowed Zeus to excel in numerous high-stakes matches, showcasing his capability of making quick decisions in challenging situations.

To reach the same level of success as Zeus, Bin needs to make significant changes to both his playstyle and his approach to the game. If not, he risks remaining a one-dimensional player, potentially struggling against more formidable opponents. As the competition for the world championship title intensifies, the gap between Bin and the ultimate goal of becoming a top-tier player may remain a distant dream unless he can evolve his gameplay.
