At the end of the year, the global gaming landscape has not changed dramatically. The mobile game with the highest views on YouTube is Pokémon TCG Pocket, racking up over 94 million views in just one month. This game has also seen widespread distribution, with 208 channels creating content and a total of 1,067 videos related to it. Notably, Pokémon TCG Pocket has successfully maintained its popularity since its launch in October 2024.
However, Another Game is Worth Noting
That title is the notable case of Zenless Zone Zero, developed by the renowned publisher miHoYo. In December, this game saw a significant surge, jumping up to 7 ranks to reach 3rd place in terms of popularity, with 54 million views. Additionally, LIVEOPSIS also reports that the revenue for Zenless Zone Zero increased by 49%, especially following the introduction of the character Miyabi in this game.
Miyabi is a female character who made her debut on December 18. This character has become a sensation among the Zenless Zone Zero fandom and the broader gaming community. Notably, her introductory video has already amassed nearly 2 million views. It’s worth mentioning that there has been a significant surge in fanart production since Miyabi’s release.
