In Chapter 10, Kurama explained to Himawari that its consciousness had appeared within her after the birth of the fox child who was completely destroyed. This is a rare phenomenon in the series, and the nine-tailed fox does not fully understand the circumstances surrounding this event.
However, one thing is clear: Himawari is not a vessel of the Sage of Six Paths. Unlike Naruto, Kushina, and any other jinchuriki, Kurama is not sealed within this girl. Instead, it is born naturally, and due to that, it is a unique existence. This is the reason why Kurama appears in a younger version of itself after rebirth.
This situation makes Himawari one of the most mysterious and powerful characters in Boruto Two Blue Vortex. She is the only person – apart from Shinju – who has been anthropomorphized. This means that her potential has reached new heights.
What are Himawari’s Powers?
With Kurama’s human-like form, Himawari is currently one of the strongest characters in the story, at least theoretically. Since she is still young and has not been trained by Kurama, she cannot fully unleash her potential.

Nevertheless, she has already displayed exceptional power after transforming into a beast form. When she transforms, she grows sharp fangs and claws, exhibiting certain features reminiscent of Naruto on her face. Her hair also changes, blowing in the wind like Kurama’s nine tails.
The fact that Himawari can transform into another form is a strong indication that she is not a jinchuriki. If she were a jinchuriki, she would need to undergo rigorous training like other jinchuriki. However, this transformation happens because she and Kurama are one.
The beast form grants her incredible healing abilities, much stronger than Naruto’s. With these healing abilities, she can not only heal herself almost instantly but can also heal others. This was shown when she healed Inojin after he was severely injured.
The healing power of Himawari is so potent that even Jura must be amazed. When Shinju continuously attacked her, she was able to heal herself. And although it costs her a significant amount of chakra, she still manages to recover a large portion of it. Therefore, her healing ability is like a double-edged sword, at least at this stage.
Naruto’s daughter also possesses significant physical strength in her beast form. Notably, her strongest technique is the beast bomb, a move so powerful that Naruto had to be completely focused on his own body before Kurama could use it, prior to him harnessing his own strength at the end of the story.
Himawari’s beast bomb could be compared to Jura’s, embodying the power of the Seven Tails. However, as she is still quite young relative to her strength, she cannot maintain it for long. Nevertheless, if given time, she could evolve into a formidable force.
