These days, it’s safe to say that the current stage is incredibly challenging for Gumayusi. However, for many T1 fans, Coach KkOma and his coaching staff are taking the right actions. While Smash continues to perform well, Coach KkOma remains confident in his choices. Nevertheless, a recent milestone related to Faker has been brought back into focus.
According to some opinions, many fans have evaluated Coach KkOma’s perspective as quite favorable, and there are reasons for choosing Smash. During the significant transition event for SKT T1 and the entire League of Legends community, Coach KkOma had already supported Faker’s move to purchase a PC when he was preparing to leave SKT T1 for KT Rolster under certain conditions.
And that move led to significant success. Faker became the “G.O.A.T of the League of Legends community,” while SKT T1/T1 emerged as the most decorated team in the history of League of Legends. All of this was primarily due to the strategic decisions made by Coach KkOma.
Faker’s Dilemma: A Second Chance for Gumayusi
Of course, the matches in the LCK Cup still won’t impact the main tournament too much in the coming months. As it stands, the Baron situation has certainly confirmed that T1’s position is challenging to change. However, it cannot be denied that Smash is currently performing excellently in the game “every team has its role to play.”
