Over Time, Sony is Actively Bringing Its Blockbuster Games to PC Instead of Exclusive Releases on PlayStation
Following the success of series such as The Last of Us and God of War, Sony has recently launched another blockbuster on Steam. This new title is Spider-Man 2. Although the game has only recently debuted on Steam, it has quickly encountered a plethora of negative feedback.

Details: Despite its Recent Release on PC, Spider-Man 2 Has Accumulated Significant Negative Reviews
According to recent statistics, there have been 1,763 user reviews submitted for the Spider-Man 2 release on Steam. Out of these reviews, 55% are positive, which is notably low compared to the 70% threshold that Valve considers necessary for a game to be deemed “mostly positive.” The comments from users largely highlight performance issues.

Moreover, the majority of reviews point out numerous issues, including game crashes during startup, frame rate drops, and other glitches during cutscenes. It is worth noting that certain graphical artifacts have emerged in the gameplay. As a result, Spider-Man 2 is currently the lowest-rated game on Steam from Sony so far. The peak number of concurrent players for Spider-Man 2 also reached around 18,000 at its highest.

It remains unclear what steps Sony will take in the near future. It is only known that previously, the PC version of The Last of Us faced technical issues upon its release, which negatively impacted user ratings.
