Dragon Ball Daima has made significant changes to the characters and lore of this beloved shonen anime series. With this anime adaptation, the iconic creator Akira Toriyama has introduced some major narrative elements.
So far, anime viewers have witnessed transformations related to the Namekian, Demon Realm, Majin Buu Saga, and many other characters from the original storyline. Now, with the revelations about the strongest character in Daima to date, a new connection has been established between Daima and Dragon Ball Z, merging two of the most powerful and beloved characters in the franchise.
Princess Anisu, the sister of Kaioshin from the Demon Realm, has gathered the essence of Majin Buu from the past and requested Grand Witch Marba’s assistance in creating a new form of Majin Buu. It turns out that scientists have been collecting the essences of Majin Buu throughout the events of Dragon Ball Z. Consequently, Princess Anisu has created an entirely new character derived from the Saiyan Saga.
The Fusion of Majin Buu and Saibaman
Besides the essence of Majin Buu, Princess Anisu also incorporates several elements to create a new Majin character, including the core essence of the character’s original form and a Saibaman essence to create a new character called Majin Kuu. This character shares some traits that make it reminiscent of the perfect fusion between Buu and Saibaman.
In addition to using the Saibaman essence as a foundation for Majin Kuu, Anisu and Marba are aware that another essence is waiting to be discovered. Therefore, while Majin Kuu could potentially be one of the most significant characters in Dragon Ball Daima, he may have a counterpart in the future of the anime.
Saibamen Reimagined
If you need a refresher on Saibamen, they were first introduced by Vegeta and Nappa during their initial confrontation with the Z Warriors on Earth. Each Saibaman had a power level similar to Raditz, Goku’s brother, estimated at around 1,200. Although we have not yet received direct information about Majin Buu’s power level, it is highly likely that they are ranked lower.
Therefore, the new Majin Kuu character may not be significantly stronger than Buu but is expected to have some advantages over him.
Saibamen have not appeared since their debut in the Saiyan Saga, meaning they have remained dormant for quite some time until these notorious creatures reappear. With this new return in Daima, we can expect entirely fresh developments.
