The Final Journey of Kuma

The chapter titled “The Final Journey of Kuma” focuses on Kuma’s journey and highlights his perspective on events in Thriller Bark, Sabaody, and the Marineford war, along with other significant occurrences.
Chapter 1102 takes us back to the beginning of the timeline when Luffy was 17 years old. A notable point is the event of Arlong being defeated by Luffy and the reactions of characters like Jinbei and Ace, along with the bounty of 30 million Berries awarded to Luffy.

This chapter also explores the newfound interest that Dragon has for Luffy after learning about his son’s bounty. Dragon arrives at Loguetown to support Luffy, marking the point of their encounter in chapter 100, where Dragon saved Luffy from Smoker. Furthermore, Kuma reflects on Luffy’s first bounty. This chapter reveals that Kuma has been closely monitoring Luffy’s development as a pirate, anticipating significant events in the future.
Later, we see Kuma stating that Luffy is the one who will change the world, but this statement comes too soon. Kuma mentions this just before he sends Luffy and his crew away from Sabaody Archipelago.
Vegapunk is opposed to the complete erasure of Kuma’s personality, yet Kuma still obeys because he wants to find peace in his heart. Vegapunk decides to record Kuma’s final will into the bubble we previously saw on Egghead.
Kuma sends a final message to Vegapunk to be delivered to Bonney. He wishes to speak to her and congratulate her on her 10th birthday.
This concludes the chapter. The emotional reunion at the end takes us back to the present, where we see Bonney grieving as she reads Kuma’s will.
Before this, Bonney, Kuma’s daughter, had gone to sea. Her determination to save her father is clearly depicted when she becomes the captain of the Bonney Pirates. She appears alongside a crew of unique individuals, bringing a distinct aura to the crew.
Sadly, there will be no new chapter next week due to the Christmas holiday.
