Krillin’s Use of Taiyoken Against Cell

In Dragon Ball Z, Imperfect Cell first used the technique Taiyoken (Solar Flare) against Krillin, aiming to escape from him, Piccolo, and Trunks. Later, a semi-perfect Cell momentarily used Taiyoken, successfully blinding Krillin once again, leading to the absorption of Android 18 and transforming into Perfect Cell.
It can be said that the use of Taiyoken by Cell had significant implications, making him stronger and more dangerous.

Although Krillin could potentially negate Cell’s Taiyoken effect, he never had the opportunity to counter Cell directly using his own unique techniques in Dragon Ball Z.
However, in the story of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Krillin finally gets a chance to challenge Cell. He uses Taiyoken to assist Android Gamma 2 in executing a special attack against Cell Max. Although this contribution does not directly lead to the defeat of Cell Max, it proves effective and allows Gamma 2 to sever the left arm of the formidable foe.
Krillin’s actions in Dragon Ball Super demonstrate that he has learned from past experiences, especially from the times when Cell used Taiyoken against himself and the Z fighters in Dragon Ball Z. Krillin also exhibits a notable strategy, reminding Piccolo of the techniques of the Namekian warrior closely related to his own character development.
The initial encounter with a certain individual against Cell Max is not favorable, as he does not resemble the original Cell in personality, despite having a similar appearance. There is a deeper significance to Krillin’s retaliation if Cell Max shares the personality of his original self.
