The ability granted to Bonney is referred to as “Future Distortion,” allowing her to manipulate her physical form in various ways. She can potentially embody a future version of herself to utilize other powerful abilities. For example, in Chapter 1101, Bonney uses this technique to transform into the form of Nika and then later utilizes Luffy’s Gear 3.
Before this, Bonney had a conversation with Kuma, where she inquired about how Nika appears. Kuma stated that everything he knows relates to the potential of Nika being rubbery and that Nika can fight however she wishes. In other words, Bonney only uses her imaginative abilities and the “Future Distortion” technique to transform into Nika herself.
This ability is incredibly potent because Bonney can use any Devil Fruit power at her disposal. She can also manipulate reality and imagine herself in a different future, potentially even stronger than the powers of the Gura Gura no Mi Devil Fruit of Whitebeard.
