TCL Set 13: The New Meta for League of Legends
Although it may not seem like a very strong set, the meta of TCL Set 13 still has some notable strengths. The current meta is the strongest among the sets, making it very challenging to activate many new traits (except for 2 traits: Irelia and Illaoi), and this makes the current set much easier to play.

To differentiate the current meta, Riot Games has increased the damage output for the League of Legends traits by 15% in the upcoming version 13.5. This change will make the current set much stronger in the late game and help champions have more time to deal damage. Combined with a higher attack speed stat, the damage output is very strong for the current set, making it easier for League of Legends traits to make a powerful comeback, even rising to the top of the new meta.
League of Legends: The New Meta in TCL Set 13
This set is designed based on the idea of utilizing strong champions like the fast-farming League of Legends champions that quickly become “overpowered” in the meta of TCL Set 13. The reason is that players often utilize strong champions that are very hard to counter, significantly decreasing the effectiveness of weaker champions. If they cannot reroll or find the necessary items to level up Violet to 4 stars, then the League of Legends champions will have no chance of winning any matches.

In the upcoming version 13.5, Riot Games has made some significant adjustments aimed at “reviving” this set. The current meta is the most challenging to navigate and can be very hard to counter, especially at 6 stars when League of Legends champions are buffed significantly and increase their combat effectiveness. Moreover, Draven also received a 10% attack damage buff at 3 stars, making it a champion that should be noted in the new version.
Flex Meta for League of Legends in TCL Set 13
Initially perceived as a very strong option, the Flex meta has now become quite unstable in the current meta due to several weaknesses. The current meta is heavily reliant on Ambessa being too weak and unable to deal damage at the end of the match when it reaches 2 stars. This situation leaves the Flex meta in a “hard to win” state despite having many strong champions, but their value is significantly diminished.

However, this issue will be addressed in version 13.5 as the Flex meta is set to increase its damage output for all champions. Furthermore, Ambessa will also receive extra attack damage buffs and help this champion deal more damage than before, making it a valuable asset in team fights. Additionally, Riot has also buffed Ambessa’s damage output at 3 stars, ensuring this champion can “carry the team” effectively when utilized correctly.
