A new promotional video has been released for the anime adaptation of the webtoon created by Chugong, titled Solo Leveling, during the Aniplex Online Fest 2023. The video confirms the premiere of the anime scheduled for January 2024 in Japan. This release date is much anticipated, as fans have been eagerly awaiting news for some time. New visuals from the project have also been revealed.

- Shunsuke Nakashige (known for Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun and Isekai Shokudou) is the director of the anime.
- A-1 Pictures, the Tokyo-based studio known for popular titles such as Black Butler, Blue Exorcist, Sword Art Online, The Seven Deadly Sins, Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and 86 Eighty-Six, is responsible for the production of the anime.
- Noboru Kimura (Kemono Jihen, Amagami SS) will be the writer and supervising scriptwriter.
- Tomoko Sudo (Fragtime) will handle character design and serve as the chief animation director.

Plot Summary
