The V Jump magazine was officially published on August 20, 2023. Along with the release of this issue, the first chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will also debut. Additionally, new information about Chapter 81 of the Boruto manga has finally been released after a long three-month hiatus.

Due to the time skip in the story, the characters have matured significantly, leading to changes in their appearances. Previously, the new designs for Sarada and Boruto had been leaked, leaving fans astounded. Now, new details about the Boruto manga have surfaced as well.
Key Information from Boruto Chapter 81
Chapter 80 of Boruto was a turning point that shifted the entire storyline dramatically. This chapter began with Eida stating that Shikamaru claimed Boruto had killed his own father, the Hokage, Naruto. The narrative then shifted to Mitsuki and Sarada, with Sasuke’s daughter urging Mitsuki to stop searching for Boruto. All the shinobi received a notification from Shikamaru stating that the Hokage had fallen and Boruto had taken control.
This news caused a major upheaval in the Hidden Leaf Village and left everyone searching for Boruto. This situation provided Kawaki with a perfect opportunity to end Boruto, as no one would interfere. Chapter 80 concluded with Boruto firmly resolving to reclaim his rightful place in the village.
Moving on to Boruto Chapter 81, or Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 1, the opening scene after the time skip reads: “I am in Konoha, a place that has experienced ‘great upheavals’ in the past. Before the Hokage’s office, Sarada and I remain steadfast…”
Sarada is in the Hokage office, arguing with Shikamaru about Boruto’s innocence. Shikamaru, donning the Hokage robe, insists that he has become Hokage after Naruto’s passing. Sarada tells Shikamaru that he should not be a mere reflection of her father; the true Hokage must be someone who stands firm in adversity.

Next, the manga shifts to Kawaki with a new appearance after the time skip. He is currently in Naruto and Hinata’s residence, where time seems to stand still as Naruto and Hinata do not seem to age.
Sumire also has a new design as she converses with Eida and Daemon about the bizarre ability to “rewrite history,” which Eida has previously refused. Eida expresses her frustration about how Sarada and Sumire maintain their positions, even after she has rewritten history.

Mitsuki’s new design is also revealed, where he and Kawaki are seen together in a different setting. Mitsuki still holds a grudge against Boruto and intends to confront him if he appears in the village. There are hints that Kawaki has inherited some of the Otsutsuki’s powers, allowing him to fly.

Chocho and Himawari are training together, and both have significantly upgraded their skills after the time skip. Himawari still believes that Boruto isn’t truly evil and feels a deep sense of loss, sensing that Naruto is still alive but is currently hidden away in sadness.

Finally, Code enters Konoha with his Mini Ten-Tails army and aims to take over the village. Sarada tries to stop him, but they continue to regenerate. One notable detail about Code is that his left eye bears a striking resemblance to Boruto’s. Out of nowhere, Boruto appears and confronts Code directly.
The chapter concludes with Sarada stunned and shocked as she reunites with Boruto after a long separation. Kawaki also approaches Boruto, hinting at a fierce confrontation as they both escape the confines of their respective struggles.
The storyline is set to continue with no interruptions, and Chapter 82, which is the second chapter of Two Blue Vortex, will be released on September 20, 2023.
