Two Players Become the Center of Attention After GAM Releases Clip on Their Journey at LCP 2025
As GAM Esports enters the APAC region and participates in LCP 2025, the team’s experience and talent have set high expectations for a successful performance. However, the reality has taken a 180-degree turn. This stage has become a “nightmare” for GAM and their fans. The recent clip highlights the challenging environment, revealing only two players who are currently experiencing “pressure and anxiety.”
Notably, Aress and Elio are the two players who have expressed their struggles with maintaining connection and cohesion within the team. Aress, a rookie for GAM, has openly admitted to feeling immense pressure while wearing the team’s yellow and black jersey. In the clip, he couldn’t hold back tears after GAM’s defeat against TALON in the LCP 2025 season opener.
Regarding the gameplay, Elio noted that Levi and Artemis were not making critical decisions that allowed the opponents to control the map. GAM’s strategy was not far from their opponents. However, the continuous miscommunication, particularly in calls, made it difficult for the team to coordinate effectively. Previously, the primary calls were made by Levi, but he also acknowledged that his teammates were not adequately connected.
GAM Faces Numerous Challenges
The clip from GAM demonstrated that the team faces many issues, particularly regarding the lack of synergy between the two players. Coach Archie also pointed out: “From Kiaya, no one is willing to sacrifice; everyone wants the best for themselves.” Thus, the team’s situation is not only challenging but also unresolved.
The players themselves also expressed that a significant issue is the lack of motivation and low morale. The atmosphere in the GAM clip seemed tense, with only a few positive moments, especially when they returned to Vietnam or won a single game against TLN.
Furthermore, the pressure on the players may be at a breaking point. It is important to note that the clip was recorded when the team was still in the group stage. Currently, GAM has just lost another match in the playoff round against TLN. Throughout the LCP 2025 journey, GAM has yet to win a match against any representatives from PCS.
Despite their talent, GAM’s players are currently unable to perform at their best. Even Levi, a key player, has not been able to lead the team effectively. The overwhelming number of players wanting to shine without a strong connection is likely a key factor contributing to GAM’s struggles.
Although VCS analysts will continue to offer support for GAM, the yellow and black team must truly address their internal issues if they do not want to face a major crisis.
