1. Ascending to the Throne After Dabura’s Death
Initially, Gomah served as the deputy ruler of Dabura’s territory. However, during the events of the Majin Buu Saga, it was revealed that Dabura had died. Upon learning of Dabura’s death, Gomah proclaimed himself the new ruler of the territory.
2. The King’s Reaction Upon Hearing That the Z Fighters Defeated Majin Buu
At first, Gomah’s ascension to the throne did not impact Goku and his friends. It wasn’t until Arinsu informed the new king about the recent defeat of Majin Buu that Gomah began to take action. Aware that his research budget would be cut, Arinsu warned Gomah that the Z Fighters had managed to defeat Majin Buu and could potentially threaten his reign. Thus, Gomah decided to launch a plan to eliminate Goku and others.
3. Gomah Turns Goku and Others Into Children
At the beginning of the series, Gomah was ready and led Neva to find Dende, who was currently residing in a hidden location. With the help of Dende’s immense power, Gomah managed to gather all Dragon Balls and execute a significant wish.
He later requested Shenron to turn all individuals related to the Majin Buu incident into children. Consequently, Goku, Vegeta, and the Z Fighters were transformed into younger versions of themselves.
4. Once Considered the Strongest Against Evil Third Eye
In addition to weakening the Z Fighters, Gomah also made efforts to protect his own strength by searching for Gomah. Eventually, a timely circumstance allowed him to obtain the item he needed from a girl that Degesu had to meet first. After establishing Evil Third Eye, Gomah’s power immediately surged to a new level.
Gomah became so powerful that he could easily defeat all the Z Fighters, including Tamagami, without effort. Only Goku in Super Saiyan 4 form and the new Porunga could withstand him.
5. Not Defeated by Goku but by Kuu
Although Goku is the main warrior against Gomah, the one who ultimately defeats the new ruler is not him but rather Majin Kuu. The situation during the battle is somewhat fortuitous, as Kuu unintentionally flies towards the back of Gomah’s head and lands a decisive blow that leads to his downfall.
Thus, Kuu becomes the new ruler and ascends to the throne.
6. Currently in a Game with Degesu
After being captured by Arinsu, who holds the highest authority in the kingdom, Gomah and Degesu eventually find themselves trapped in an intense game. They must survive in a time loop of 100 years. However, after reviewing the way Gomah dealt with Dende, their sentence was reduced to 99 years. During this period, both must spend time playing games and engaging in various activities.
7. Voiced by Morikubo Shoutarou
The character Gomah is voiced by Morikubo Shoutarou. He is also known for voicing Kisaki Tetta, one of the most challenging characters to portray in Tokyo Revengers.
Morikubo has lent his voice to various characters such as Shamil Volkov in Dr. Stone, Bartolomeo in One Piece, Zagred in Black Clover, and Shikamaru Nara in Naruto.
