The game currently making waves in the community is Mecha Break – a title that, while not officially released yet, is already gaining significant attention among gamers.
However, despite its growing popularity, Mecha Break is facing numerous challenges, particularly regarding its monetization model. This is also the reason why its rating on Steam is not particularly high.

Nevertheless, we cannot ignore the potential of this game, especially considering the attention it has attracted from games designed for Mecha Break.
Upon its release, the demo version of Mecha Break quickly climbed to the top of the Steam rankings, even temporarily securing a position in the top tier of the largest game titles on this platform. The game achieved a peak of 317,522 concurrent players, surpassing many competitors such as Marvel Rivals, Rust, and Apex Legends. However, Mecha Break has yet to surpass established giants like PUBG, Dota 2, or Counter-Strike 2.

Despite its success in terms of player numbers, Mecha Break is currently struggling against a wave of criticism regarding its monetization strategies. With over 13,000 user reviews on Steam, only 34% are positive. A significant portion of players expresses dissatisfaction with the game’s perceived focus on monetization, as well as concerns regarding its heavy reliance on “pay-to-win” mechanics. This has resulted in an overall rating of “Mostly Negative” on Steam.
However, the publisher Amazing Seasun Games has been responsive to feedback. Following criticism regarding its monetization practices, they decided to reward players with 1,000 Corite – a premium in-game currency – to be used for purchasing mechs and cosmetic items.

Despite currently facing many challenges, Mecha Break remains one of the most notable multiplayer mech games available today. Moreover, the strong performance of the demo suggests a promising future for this title.
