8 New Champions in TFT Set 14 Launching Soon
As the current meta evolves, TFT Set 13 is still under pressure and only has one more patch before it reaches its “final stage.” Therefore, the gaming community is paying close attention to the upcoming information regarding TFT Set 14, which is expected to officially launch on the main servers in about a month. On the morning of March 12, exciting information about TFT Set 14, titled Cyber City, was revealed along with some images and videos showcasing the LPL region.
According to the latest video introducing TFT Set 14, we saw four champions: Graves, Neeko, Shaco, and Sylas, battling each other. Subsequently, the main image of this season includes four other characters: Dr. Mundo, Zed, Zeri, and Aurora. Notably, this image also hints at several thematic elements related to the tactics of TFT Set 14, which will focus heavily on various augmentations like Super Charge, and the ultimate abilities.
Furthermore, the two augmentations that Dr. Mundo and Neeko possess are showcased in the images above within the same augmentation line. This indicates a high possibility that these two champions will belong to the same thematic group in TFT Set 14. Moreover, augmentations like Thanh Lịch (Zed) and Siêu Phẩm (Zeri) are also highly likely to appear in the upcoming season under specific champion augmentations. Notably, a new champion whose name has not been revealed may also be designed by Riot specifically for Set 14, perhaps resembling the Kobuko design from Set 12.
In addition to the new champions, a prominent streamer and content creator focusing on TFT has also revealed that Riot will introduce various systems and features that are particularly unique to TFT Set 14. They might even be compared to the technology system of LoL (League of Legends), leading to significant gameplay changes for TFT in a substantial way. Riot appears keen to utilize the “future technology” theme of Set 14 to explore ways to change and upgrade this game.
Release Date for TFT Set 14 Confirmed
During the announcement of Patch 13.6, the director of TFT – Riot Mortdog also disclosed the release date for Set 14. Accordingly, TFT Set 14 is set to launch on April 2, under the title Patch 14.1. Approximately two weeks prior, this version will be tested on the PBE (Public Beta Environment) servers starting March 19. Furthermore, information regarding TFT Set 14 may appear earlier than the timeline mentioned above and will be continuously updated, so stay tuned for further details.
