VCS Star “Adds Salt” to T1 Fans’ Wounds
At the LCK Cup 2025, T1 could not reach the final match and secured the championship title. Recently, the controversy surrounding this team has been reignited, despite their position as a top contender for the World Championship title, as they failed to qualify for the First Stand – the first international tournament of 2025 organized by Riot. Notably, T1 ended up in sixth place, accompanied by a series of drama stemming from the performance of Gumayusi and Smash.

Despite the LCK Cup 2025 being over for some time now, VCS star LazyFeel continues to “add salt” to the wounds of T1 fans. Specifically, during a livestream, he was asked the question, “Who is the best ADC in the current LCK?”. LazyFeel replied that the obvious choice was Viper.
LazyFeel’s statement regarding VCS ADCs was clear: “Of course, I have to choose Viper as the best ADC right now. As for Gumayusi, he is known for his unique style.”

T1 Fans Must Endure the Criticism
In reality, LazyFeel’s observation is entirely accurate and quite normal. However, many T1 fans are also “enduring” this situation as, according to various opinions, the absence of Gumayusi significantly contributed to T1’s sixth-place finish in the LCK Cup 2025. Moreover, the “sky blue” team managed to win only one match despite being at the bottom of their group.

Moreover, the newly promoted T1 Challenger player, Smash, has not met expectations. All indicators regarding this player have been quite underwhelming… his performance metrics, such as damage dealt in fights and kill participation rates, have been very low. In fact, his numbers were lower than those of the ADC that received the lowest rating among the six players in the playoffs, which was Deokdam from KT.

In the context of T1’s current struggle to utilize a six-man roster, it’s possible that Smash will continue to compete alongside Gumayusi in the future. At this point, T1 fans have every right to be concerned about the potential outcome of the upcoming LCK Cup, especially when Smash’s lane dominance has not been established.
