Tencent Finally Launches This Mobile Game After 7 Years

Blade & Soul was developed and published by NCSoft, first launched in South Korea in 2012. Tencent Enhances Game Distribution with the New Blade and Soul Version
Currently, the next installment of this action MMORPG is officially set to launch in China on April 3, 2025. Prior to that, Tencent will conduct a closed beta test from March 22 to March 29 on the WeGame platform, allowing players to experience the game early and provide feedback.
Blade & Soul 2 has been developed with many improvements over the initial version. One of the most significant changes is the flexible combat system, allowing players to freely adjust their fighting styles instead of being limited by character classes as seen previously. The in-game trading system will also be maintained in a way that promotes free exchange among players, especially with powerful items that cannot be bought with real money but can only be earned through activities like boss fights or crafting.
The graphics engine of Blade & Soul 2 has also been upgraded by utilizing Unreal Engine technology, delivering detailed visuals and immersive combat experiences, while expanding the game world significantly.
