LPL Representatives “Unfazed” Amidst Challenges
The recent failure at First Stand 2025 by Top Esports (TES) not only reflects a poor outcome but also has lasting repercussions affecting the LPL representatives across the region. Initially, the audience’s focus was solely on the performances of various teams. Recently, however, the TES team has drawn significant attention for their continuous gameplay alongside their dedicated fans during the First Stand 2025 event. Nonetheless, when the TES coach spoke, he failed to express any concern regarding his team’s performance.

Specifically, in a recent interview, the TES coach only acknowledged the contributions of JackeyLove and 369, disregarding the responsibilities of Creme entirely. Currently, Creme is seen as a key figure, although he is primarily criticized without any mention of JackeyLove or 369.

Additionally, in a separate incident, Creme’s girlfriend indirectly contributed to his emotional state following TES’s failure, as she made some negative remarks about Creme’s performance. Consequently, the LPL audience has been treated to a series of discussions generated by Creme’s girlfriend, who claimed that 369 was the weakest member of TES while asserting that JackeyLove “had no impact at all.”

The Potential for LPL Representatives to Continue Struggling Remains High
Initially perceived as a typical tournament, the stakes during the First Stand are notably high for TES. We must acknowledge that this team is facing a “bad luck” scenario, as they represent the LPL in an international competition, following a series of disappointing performances from LPL teams at both MSI and Worlds.
Moreover, it is TES itself that has struggled to adapt to the competition standards of its peers in the region. TES may suffer a significant loss against a formidable HLE, but the failure where they couldn’t secure even a single game against teams like KC or CFO is unacceptable. This is especially true given that CFO comes from the APAC region—an area that has yet to achieve a performance level comparable to that of the LPL.

As the season progresses, the outlook for LPL remains precarious, and there are no signs of improvement based on recent performances. The potential for TES to continue struggling is undoubtedly high, particularly as they face increasingly competitive teams head-on.
