One Piece Chapter 1145 is titled: “The Reunion at Forest Area 2 on Tree Branch 8”. This week’s chapter features a special colored page and a traditional cover page.
The unique colored page is designed by the anime character designer for One Piece – Midori Matsuda. The content of this page depicts the Mū Ram area, currently being watched in a living room with a TV to catch up on the latest episodes of the Egghead arc, highlighting the return of the animated series. The traditional cover page continues the journey of the Oni tribe’s captain, Yamato, in chapter 30, bringing a scene of Ulti embracing Page One after being rescued by Yamato.
The beginning of One Piece Chapter 1145 is a dramatic scene at Ming’s dock. Zoro, Sanji, and Goldberg are preparing to attack Loki and are confronted by a massive Brontosaurus. A battle ensues, and the Brontosaurus is taken down.
Afterward, the group returns to assist Loki, the prince of Elbaph, who is sharing crucial information about the Alliance that has been attacked. Later, Sanji encounters the Groggysaurus, and Luffy throws a hot meal into Loki’s mouth, causing him to scream.
When asked about Shanks’ whereabouts, Loki insists that Luffy has yet to achieve true freedom, as he does not know an essential detail about his past.
At this point, there is a flashback of Loki revealing that he previously had a direct confrontation with Rocks D. Xebec. Xebec was hidden behind a black curtain and only revealed a portion of his face. Loki’s ambition is to join forces with Xebec, but he has been rejected multiple times. This leads to a challenge between Loki and Xebec, where Loki faces severe consequences, including being attacked by a sword. Interestingly, Red-Haired Shanks also makes an appearance in this flashback, confronting Xebec for what he had done to Loki.
Concluding this flashback, Loki admits that he sees Xebec with the same expression that Luffy has when looking at Shanks, believing he was born in the wrong era and was meant to be part of the legendary pirate crew of Rocks.
Shifting to the region of Dương Giới, in another chapter, the Pirate Brigade is currently battling numerous monsters that have emerged on the Great Eirik ship, which is a variant of Sval. Gaban leaps over the mighty monsters and defeats them using his spear. He mentions that if the crew does not know about Loki’s true nature, the monsters in the mist could be far more dangerous. After, Gaban states that he has received three warnings and expresses, “If even Elbaph is not safe, then this world is doomed…”
The end of the chapter is filled with tension, but the crew cannot control their panic. Fortunately, Jinbe appears beside a massive wave and uses a new technique to quell the panic.
The chapter concludes aboard the Sval ship, where Colon expresses gratitude to Jinbe for his help. In the final frame of the chapter, Gunko appears on the Sval ship. Colon, Nami, Usopp, Jinbe, and Brook are all shocked to see her, especially considering the circumstances.
