Anti-Fan Actions Escalate Against Gumayusi on Faker’s Special Day
According to recent reports from the LCK, a notorious group of anti-fans associated with T1, particularly targeting Gumayusi, has exhibited actions that can be described as excessively aggressive. This group hired 9 trucks to stage a protest, driving from the SK headquarters (the parent company of T1) to the company’s office, displaying banners with derogatory remarks directed at T1 and insinuating that this team should be ’emotionally burdened due to skills’ along with publicly criticizing T1’s CEO.

It is noteworthy that this protest occurred right before the match against KT Rolster on April 10 (Vietnam time). Not only is it a ‘well-known warrior,’ but the match between T1 and KT also marks Faker’s 1000th competitive game. This milestone is significant for both Faker and the LCK as a whole. However, the special event surrounding Faker is at risk of being overshadowed as a faction of anti-fans engages in disruptive behavior.

Additionally, on many platforms, even Faker’s own fans are struggling to cope with these actions. After all, the milestone of 1000 competitive games is a rare achievement that not everyone can attain in their career. To date, only Faker has managed to reach this remarkable milestone. However, instead of celebrating, the day is marred by the drama surrounding it. Just before Faker’s anniversary, anti-fans took the opportunity to provoke Gumayusi and his supporters.

T1 Faces Unprecedented Challenges with Gumayusi’s Situation
And of course, as usual, T1… seems to be doing nothing at all. This team also appears to be disheartened by the feedback from Coach Tom a few days ago, which was barely acknowledged in a brief stream highlighting the VOD from Smash.
It can be said that the actions of the anti-fans are contributing to the chaos, making Faker’s special anniversary and T1’s current situation a ‘result’ of the ongoing disturbances from T1’s supporters. It will not be surprising if this team only garners attention due to the controversies, which certainly won’t be favorable for their performance in the 2025 season.
