Two Genshin Impact Characters Set for Significant Buffs
As you may know, Genshin Impact is preparing to introduce two new characters, Ifa and Escoffier, in the upcoming version 5.6. However, following the recent leak of details regarding their buffs, many players are opting to “skip” these characters to conserve resources for more powerful DPS characters in the future.
It’s worth noting that while the character designs are quite appealing and play a crucial supporting role, they may not resonate as strongly with players in comparison to Ifa and Escoffier. This is particularly true with the upcoming version 6.0, which promises to deliver an overwhelming amount of content. Recognizing this concern, miHoYo seems to be seeking a “safety net” to maintain a better balance.
According to sources, some leakers have revealed that miHoYo will buff these two characters significantly. For Escoffier, reaching C6 will enhance her damage output by 500% instead of the previous 350%. As for Ifa, the critical damage reduction will increase from 30% to 50% at C2.
What Should Genshin Impact Players Do?
In reality, Ifa’s C2 level can be quite effective alongside a strong support character. However, on the other hand, a 5-star character like Escoffier may not be as easily upgraded to C6.
It is certain that more characters with stronger abilities than Escoffier will appear in the future. Therefore, until the actual appeal becomes clearer, players should avoid excessive spending on these characters. Conserving resources at this moment is incredibly important for any Genshin player to keep in mind.
