VALORANT Mobile: A Global Gaming Phenomenon
After a long wait, the highly anticipated tactical shooter game, VALORANT Mobile, has officially opened registrations in China. This announcement was made during the annual SPARK 2025 event organized by Tencent Games, marking a significant milestone in the development journey of this mobile version.

VALORANT Mobile is a product developed by Riot Games in collaboration with Lightspeed Studios, renowned for their success with PUBG Mobile. The aim of this mobile adaptation is to deliver an immersive 5v5 tactical experience while preserving the essence of the PC version, optimized for mobile devices and touchscreens. All key elements, including the unique abilities of “agents” and the overall gameplay experience, are designed to remain intact, allowing players to enjoy a competitive environment similar to the original version.

Before its public release, VALORANT Mobile underwent a lengthy development process, featuring numerous closed beta tests, trailers showcasing gameplay, and community feedback to refine the product. This reflects Riot’s commitment to ensuring quality and enhancing user experience as they enter the competitive mobile gaming market—a sector filled with immense potential but also fierce competition.
When Will VALORANT Mobile Be Released?
China is the first market to experience VALORANT Mobile. The global version is still in the preparation phase and its release date has yet to be confirmed by Riot. In the meantime, players in China can register through the official website for a chance to receive exclusive rewards such as animated sprays and special cards. This version is anticipated to launch in Q3 2025.

Currently, the global gaming community has yet to experience VALORANT Mobile and will need to remain patient for further information from Riot. However, with the ongoing registration in a major market like China, the official global release of this version may not be far off. This could be a strategic step for Riot to gather operational insights, engage player interest, and build anticipation before the worldwide launch.
