Keria Reflects on the Mistakes of T1’s Team
The match between Dplus KIA and T1 can be considered the second major clash where the DOFGK team faced off during the 2025 Regular Season. There were rumors of a roster change, but when it comes to facing DK, Gumayusi and Keria have now played together in five consecutive matches in a BO3 series, which is seen as the strongest duo in 2024. In the drama around T1 – Gumayusi – Smash, people are too focused on the AD position, while a supporting player like Keria has shared his thoughts on the matter.

According to Keria, he stated: “Back in 2021, when everyone was just starting to compete in the main roles, my thought was simply: ‘As long as I do well, that’s enough.’ But now, things are different, there are too many things to focus on, and I can no longer just think about myself, so every move is not as easy as before. The reality is quite tough. Lately, as both teams have been training closely and sharing ideas as before, I have begun to feel a sense of good connection again.”

Clearly, although not often stated, Keria also acknowledged the familiar lineup of T1 being vital to their performance and helping him regain his sense of connection. Recently, this has been the period when Gumayusi has been back in scrims, possibly after T1’s defeat to BNK FearX.
Furthermore, with any AD carry, being paired with a suitable support is crucial for creating the most effective synergy. Unfortunately, T1 hasn’t been able to achieve this. Even with the use of Smash, Keria’s roaming potential across all three lanes has been rendered ineffective as he had to support Smash in the lane.

Keria’s Statements Are a Positive Sign for T1
If T1 can regain their motivation and synergy, it will be a great thing for the team. Theoretically, they still have a chance to compete at MSI 2025. However, the teams must be prepared to face multiple challenges because their balance has started to falter compared to their rivals over a long period.
