Keria Confirms T1 Will Make a Comeback in the New Version
On May 4th, T1 secured a significant victory against KT in the “champion battle” of the LCK Regular Season. Alongside T1’s impressive performance, this match also highlighted KT’s ongoing struggles, facing numerous challenges in their strategic gameplay and management of team fights. This has led KT to experience a serious crisis, causing them to drop to the lower ranks of the standings.

As for T1, the morale is incredibly high, especially with Gumayusi returning to his official main role. The star player of T1, Keria, is very optimistic about the team’s future success, especially with the upcoming changes in the League of Legends meta, particularly with the upcoming patch focused on Ionia. Keria believes that the new meta will revolve around controlling the Dragon and requiring strong support play, which is crucial for T1’s success.

“I have a strong feeling about the upcoming version of the patch focused on Ionia, and I feel it significantly aligns with T1’s gameplay. This could be a season where the meta centers around controlling the Dragon and requiring strong support play, which could enable us to perform effectively. Currently, my and Gumayusi’s synergy is at its peak as we practice in the main matches. I am very pleased with the strength of the team, and as long as we maintain our current form, T1 will come back stronger in the future,” Keria confidently shared after the victory against KT.

T1 Aims to Secure the Championship Title at LCK
Looking at the changes in patch 25.9 (the update focused on Ionia), the target champion, Sona, has received a buff, but her overall importance has significantly decreased. This is due to Sona’s absence in the current meta and the significant decrease in her pick rate from the 8th to the 15th minute (before the appearance of the Rift Herald), leaving only the Dragon available. This allows the team to control the Dragon effectively, granting them a significant advantage in team fights. Naturally, if T1 can achieve this, their performance will improve considerably in the upcoming matches.

This situation is quite favorable for T1, as Gumayusi and Keria are under considerable pressure in the recent matches. Moreover, T1’s future match schedule seems quite “friendly” as they will face teams perceived as weaker, such as DRX, DK, or BRO. If they perform well in these upcoming matches, T1 will be able to accumulate crucial points and exert pressure on the top two teams, Gen.G and HLE. Hopefully, with Riot’s continuous support, T1 will maintain their high current standing and soon contend for the championship title at the LCK.
