A Struggling LCK Team Faces “Difficulties”
As of now, the 2025 Regular Season has just begun, marking the start of the first two rounds that will determine performance ahead of MSI 2025. This signifies that the tournament is still in its early stages. However, recently, a team LCK has been dubbed as the “most likely to struggle” for the entire season, when their main players are considered too weak. This is particularly true for KT Rolster following a statement from Bdd.
According to Bdd, the mid-laner for KT expressed his frustration: “It feels like the team is unable to perform on the big stage.” Bdd himself is the most experienced player on the current KT roster. Yet, he is also under the most pressure, following KT’s disappointing performance at the LCK Cup 2025, which has extended into the current season.

Moreover, in a recent match loss against T1 at KT’s home ground, Bdd has set a personal milestone of 2,500 career LCK points. This represents a significant achievement. However, alongside KT’s failure with a 0-2 loss to T1, Bdd’s record feels overshadowed: “I really wanted to win; this was an important match. Therefore, I feel very disappointed about this loss.”
Facing the Challenge of Giants
While teams like HLE, Gen.G, and T1 consistently field strong players to compete for the championship, KT has often struggled to maintain a competitive edge over the years. However, in the 2025 season, it seems that KT’s players are “too inexperienced”. Additionally, there have been personnel changes that have not helped improve the situation. Bdd himself has been resilient, but if he were to falter, the team would likely struggle.

Bdd’s statement reflects not just a sense of pessimism but also a recognition of the current challenges facing KT. He further explained that he used the term “big stage” to refer to KT’s home arena. However, anyone can see that this team has also experienced a lot of pressure, especially after matches where they’ve performed well but still failed to secure victories at home.
