VCS Commentator Faces Backlash Over Zeus and HLE
Referring to the name H. Sama, many fans of VCS are not far off as he has been “catching waves” during numerous matches of both VCS and LCK lately. However, alongside the professional commentary, there’s a serious need for self-reflection as commentator H. Sama has also left a number of unpleasant impressions due to his frequent “verbal slips.” For instance, in the past, he was once reprimanded for using inappropriate language to refer to Peyz or when the drama between T1 and Gumayusi erupted, he awkwardly appeared wearing a KT jersey that sparked controversy. Recently, the VCS commentator continued to “face backlash” concerning the fan base of HLE and Zeus.

As previously reported, at the end of June, HLE will host a FanFest in Vietnam, and many fans of this team, as well as personnel from the organization, had to express their disappointment as they could not attend. However, in the chat lines among their fans, some fans of commentator H. Sama used inappropriate phrases to refer to HLE fans.

Furthermore, these individuals, representing HLE fans, with a certain chemical composition, have been used in the ongoing conflict, causing the HLE fan community to become increasingly infuriated. Immediately, several fanpages of HLE and other teams in Vietnam collectively launched attacks against the commentator for his actions. Ultimately, according to many, even if he is not the direct perpetrator, he is still responsible for managing his fan community.

VCS Commentator Faces “Unpleasant” Outcome
After that, he was forced to engage with his fan group while publicly apologizing. However, according to some ardent HLE fans, he will continue to face backlash until the LCK in Vietnam and other related organizations can properly address the situation concerning the commentator’s conduct. In regards to the commentator’s approach, it seems that this will serve as a valuable lesson for him about the importance of managing fan groups on social media platforms.
