Moonton – a name closely associated with the legendary Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – is once again making waves in the gaming community with the launch of its new game titled Silver and Blood. After a Beta testing phase in several Asian countries last April, Moonton has officially announced the global release date for the game on June 26, 2025. However, many Vietnamese gamers are disappointed as the game will not be released in Vietnam, despite being available in North America, Europe, and Asia with three unique versions.

What Makes Moonton’s New Game Special?
Silver and Blood is a fast-paced 2D tactical RPG that incorporates a Gothic medieval style with intricate graphics. Players will take on the role of a necromancer, leading a team of Vassals (minions) to battle in a world called Minexus. The game will feature over 50 Vassals across five different factions, each character designed with unique skills and storyline connections, creating deep tactical layers and an immersive role-playing experience.

In Silver and Blood, players will dive into the Minexus realm – a land filled with various biomes from dense jungles, snowy mountains, to vast plains. The Blood Beasts roam freely, and players must strategically manage their unit deployments and utilize terrain and the strengths of their “bloodline” to secure victories.

The game offers multiple game modes including Blood Arena – a place for PvP tactical battles, and Twilight Citadel – a PvE mode with numerous challenging dungeons. Notably, the Spirit Siphon feature allows players to harness the latent strengths of the “Moonblessed” Vassals, combined with the synergistic linking system, enhancing personalization and depth for each choice in the exploration journey.
Exciting as it is, Vietnamese gamers are still left out of Silver and Blood
Not only does the game captivate players through engaging tactical gameplay, but Silver and Blood also invests heavily in visual effects and sound. The game utilizes vibrant anime graphics and smooth animations that effectively highlight the character abilities. The soundtrack, crafted by Yasunori Nishiki – the composer behind Octopath Traveler – creates an immersive atmosphere that blends Gothic soundscapes with haunting visuals.

However, despite its potential to become a global Gacha super hit, Silver and Blood will not be available in Vietnam. Currently, only players in regions like North America, Europe, and a few Asian countries can access the official game. This situation has undoubtedly disappointed many Vietnamese gamers. Nevertheless, local gamers can still explore alternatives to access the game. However, this remains a significant barrier for many.
