Community Outcry Over “Common Point” Controversy Between T1 and HLE
Recently, T1 officially made headlines regarding the situation surrounding Zeus, as well as the controversial decision to place Gumayusi on the substitute bench. However, it’s worth noting that Zeus’s role has undergone a significant shift over time, and even HLE fans seem to have lost interest in the ongoing drama. Interestingly, many League of Legends fans have discovered that although the issue with Zeus’s transfer to the bench has sparked debate, both T1 and HLE have seemingly moved past it, leading to a decrease in drama and tension.

According to reports, following a public outcry, HLE has remained relatively silent, only responding to criticism from the T1 fan community and statements from CEO Joe Marsh. However, immediately after Zeus and HLE won the LCK Cup, followed by the First Stand, the opposing team and The Play began to “deflect” attention. Clearly, rather than clarifying the situation as the drama unfolded, both HLE and The Play allowed Zeus to “take the fall” and gain prominence after the victory. If HLE were to fail against Gen.G in the LCK Cup, no one would know how T1’s information would be distributed afterward.

As for T1, they seemed to take a different approach, acting more reserved. Specifically, right after the victory over HLE and securing their spot at MSI 2025, this team officially offered an apology to Zeus as well as shared details regarding the situation involving Gumayusi. It is noteworthy that both Zeus and the T1 insiders have endured negative feedback over time. Furthermore, on the day when anti-fans of Gumayusi sent nine trucks to protest in front of the SK and T1 offices (which coincided with Faker’s career anniversary), T1 had no visible response.

Yet in the End, Gumayusi Still Hasn’t Received Clear Responses from T1
If Zeus’s role appears to have been resolved and he himself is no longer overly concerned, the situation regarding Gumayusi remains unresolved. T1’s internal dynamics are still intact, and no one dares to say that after MSI 2025, Gumayusi will not be utilized. Ultimately, players and fans remain the “scapegoats” in the ongoing T1 drama that has persisted since the beginning of the year.
