Superstar at the Top of LPL Sets Ambitious Goals, Aiming to Outshine Faker
The 2024 season is shaping up to be a significant year for Bilibili Gaming (BLG). This team consistently performs well in the LPL, but they aim to leave a mark on the international stage. Notably, in both major tournaments (MSI and Worlds), they have reached the finals. Therefore, the expectations for BLG this year are extremely high.

One of the key players showing immense determination is Bin. He stated, “This year, BLG will be different from last year. We will strive to secure championships in all three major international tournaments (Riot’s new tournaments, MSI, and Worlds). We will prove that BLG is the strongest team in the world.”

If Bin can secure three international championship titles in a single year with BLG, he will surpass the achievements of the legendary Faker. Historically, during Faker’s peak with SKT, they managed to win two international championships in a single year (2016).

LPL Fans Are Skeptical About Bin’s Determination
In reality, Bin’s ambition may seem lofty, but it will be incredibly challenging. Despite T1 undergoing roster changes, they remain a formidable opponent, especially in the Worlds stage. In the last two Worlds, BLG faced T1 in multiple BO3 and BO5 matches and fell short.
Moreover, there are fans who express doubts: “If Bin cannot improve his weak points, just playing well against the top teams will not be enough for BLG in the coming years.”

Besides T1, they also need to tackle teams like TES, WBG, IG, and JDG in the international tournaments, as well as Gen.G and HLE in the Korean tournaments. These are all “living giants.” Notably, Gen.G recently defeated BLG in the MSI 2024 finals to claim the championship title. Additionally, LCK representatives also show significant improvements, particularly with the addition of top-tier player Ruler after his recent transfer.

However, there must be clear goals to drive motivation. Bin also wishes to inspire himself and his teammates. The 2025 season will be incredibly challenging, and Bin understands that he must showcase tremendous effort to bring glory to LPL as they face off against T1 and other LCK teams.
