In the world of gaming, the creativity of players often results in surprising combinations of different genres. Recently, a Reddit user named stan616 (u/a1ndrea) shared a remarkable project that merges “Minecraft” with Attack on Titan. This talented player has recreated the Shiganshina district from the anime, block by block, using the creative tools available in the game.

According to stan616, building Shiganshina took nearly two months of dedicated work in Minecraft. “It took exactly 67 days and about 500 hours,” the user shared. Some commenters calculated the hours stan616 spent and suggested that it averages out to “8 hours a day for 67 days” or “7.4 hours a day.”
In a 41-minute YouTube video, stan616 detailed their approach to such a significant project in Minecraft. The video offers a close look at all the specific aspects, particularly features like Eren Yeager’s house and the titan walls of the Shiganshina district. The entire build was completed in just two days, while the landscaping took an additional four days.
This project is not stan616’s first foray into the gaming universe. Previously, this content creator had also constructed iconic locations from various anime in Minecraft, including classic works from Studio Ghibli, such as “Spirited Away” and “Howl’s Moving Castle.” Additionally, they recreated the landscape of the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical School from “Jujutsu Kaisen.”
The dedication of this user in recreating the world of “Shingeki no Kyojin” is not limited to just Minecraft. Another enthusiastic player has also reimagined the iconic battles from the game in the popular simulation game Palworld. Even MAPPA, the studio behind the anime “Shingeki no Kyojin,” has acknowledged the influence of the gaming community, notably utilizing screenshots from Total War: Empire as inspiration for some of the most significant scenes in the anime.
