One Piece: A Global Phenomenon in Anime and Manga
One Piece is one of the largest anime/manga franchises in the world. Created by Eiichiro Oda, this manga has consistently dominated the industry for over two decades. Its popularity began early in Japan, but it was not as well-known in the West as titles like Naruto and Dragon Ball. However, this has completely changed in recent years.
Author Eiichiro Oda has spent a considerable amount of time developing the main characters, which is why there is such a large fan base for these beloved figures. Roronoa Zoro is one of the central characters in One Piece, so it’s no surprise that he has garnered a devoted following.

Recently, a birthday card for Roronoa Zoro was released on the official Jump Shop account, confirming that he possesses the advanced Haki known as Conqueror’s Haki. This is a significant moment, as Roronoa Zoro had not yet been officially recognized as a user of Conqueror’s Haki. Naturally, fans were thrilled to see their favorite character acknowledged with one of the most powerful abilities in One Piece.
Ongoing Debates Surrounding Roronoa Zoro
However, the Jump Shop has since removed the post, leading to an extensive debate within the One Piece community. From that point on, fans have begun to argue about whether Zoro truly possesses Conqueror’s Haki or not.

As he begins to utilize this powerful ability, many fans believe that Zoro has been harnessing Haki stored within his sword, Enma, a legendary blade once wielded by Kozuki Oden. This has led to further speculation, with some fans asserting that the sword itself draws out Haki from Zoro.
The debate is expected to continue until there is an official announcement or clarification made in the manga.
Currently, the One Piece manga is focusing on the Elbaf arc. Fans have eagerly awaited many years to see the characters reach this land and explore its mysteries. Expectations are high that this arc will reveal the largest hidden secrets in One Piece, and to date, Oda has been steadily building up to this moment.
One Piece fans are also preparing for the return of the anime, which has been on hiatus since last year. The anime is set to return on April 4, 2025, with the continuation of the Egghead Island arc.
