When it comes to Halloween, some parents simply grab a white sheet to make a ghost costume, while others, like Josh Rossi, are ready to go the extra mile. An accomplished photographer and visual artist, Josh is known for his extraordinary talent in creating hyper-realistic images, focusing on every detail to make each photo come alive. So when his three-year-old daughter Nelle wanted to transform into the superhero Wonder Woman, Josh dedicated himself to the task, spending $1500 on a custom costume made from real leather and assembling a team to create a stunning Halloween ensemble with all the necessary props.
The movie “Wonder Woman” has not yet been released, but the best materials Josh could gather were from the trailer. He meticulously planned and coordinated the shoot for several months, collaborating with an external studio to create an authentic costume that looked just like the one in the film. Meanwhile, Nelle and her mom were busy gathering supplies to watch the trailer and practicing how to strike poses, move, and express the character’s facial expressions.
Little Nelle prepares her costume for the grand day of transformation.
The photo shoot takes place on a sunny day with a dedicated and professional team. The process of capturing each image is quite complex, requiring multiple shots and the assembly of different elements later in post-production.
One of the most challenging shots was capturing Nelle flying in mid-air, which required 5-6 hours of careful planning to lift the little girl to create the desired effect.
