Games typically take an average of 4-5 years to develop. In this context, games that are closely associated with blockbuster titles often take even longer.
Take, for example, the case of the series The Elder Scrolls. Skyrim was released in 2011, yet nearly 14 years later, we still do not have Elder Scrolls 6, just like how a decade has passed since Fallout 4 was launched. Lost Soul Aside is another title that fits this mold.

Officially introduced in 2016, it has taken nearly 10 years for this game title to finally launch.
Earlier this month, Sony held its first-ever PlayStation State of Play event, during which a lot of announcements were made, including the confirmation that Lost Soul Aside will finally be released on May 30 of this year. This news might be a relief to many gamers, as there has been a significant anticipation for this blockbuster title accompanied by high-quality gameplay. However, alongside this good news, there was also some unfortunate information.

According to the announcement, Lost Soul Aside will be released on PS5, but it will also be available on PC through Steam. The release date is still under consideration, similar to Helldivers 2. PlayStation intends to release Lost Soul Aside, but it typically requires PC gamers to link their PSN accounts when playing any game that is also released on Steam. This is a common practice that Sony has often implemented, and unfortunately, Vietnamese gamers won’t have access to this gaming experience.

When logging into the Lost Soul Aside page on Steam, gamers will see the notification “This product is currently not available in your region.” Hopefully, after the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on Steam, Sony will realize that Lost Soul Aside does not require PSN.
