The film crew behind Attack on Titan recently revealed exciting news at the “Shingeki Matsuri” event held this past Sunday: the second season of the anime series is set to premiere in the spring of 2017.
The production team also introduced the talented individuals responsible for the second season of Attack on Titan, which includes:
Main Director: Tetsuro Araki (Director of Season 1)
Assistant Director: Masashi Koizuka (Storyboard artist for Season 1)
Character Designer: Kyoji Asano
Animation Directors: Kyoji Asano, Satoshi Kadowaki, Ayumi Yamada
The voice cast for the main characters includes:
Yuuki Kaji as Eren
Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa
Marina Inoue as Armin
Kishō Taniyama as Jean
Hiroshi Kamiya as Levi
Daisuke Ono as Erwin
Romi Park as Hanji

If you are unfamiliar, the first season of the Attack on Titan anime series premiered in April 2013 and quickly gained massive global popularity. The fame of the original manga, Attack on Titan, also skyrocketed as fans eagerly embraced the story.
Although the second season of the anime was initially announced to begin production in 2014, it was subsequently delayed to 2016. After several postponements, it has finally been confirmed that Attack on Titan Season 2 will premiere in the spring of 2017.
