The entertainment industry is full of unexpected turns, leading the lives of individuals to a “new page” endlessly. In relation to a beloved Disney star from some time ago, the continuous evolution of his life has made him realize that life, in his view, is joyful and quite vibrant.

Last year, Dan Benson attracted a younger audience when he participated in the Disney series The Wizards of Waverly Place. In the show, he played the character Zeke, whose full name is Zachary Ezekiel Rosenblatt “Zeke” Beakerman. Zeke is the best friend of Justin (played by David Henrie), portrayed as the “cool, laid-back” type, but often referred to as the “bookworm.” He frequently appears alongside Justin and humorously interacts with Alex, their sister, making for entertaining moments.
Zeke made his debut in season 1 and quickly became one of the beloved supporting characters of the Disney series. He was also one of the few “outsiders” who knew the secret of the Russo family’s wizardry, yet he kept it under wraps.

Dan Benson portrayed Zeke from 2007 until the end of the series in late 2012. Despite his seemingly modest career, marked by his charming looks and youthful appearance, Benson faced unexpected changes in his life. Recently, in a TikTok post, he revealed secrets about his past experiences while filming The Wizards of Waverly Place. He shared that while famous for his role as Zeke, he had many fans, particularly attractive girls. “There were some fans who were really passionate, and I found that quite appealing,” Benson shared.

While exploring his past crushes, Benson also “dared” to send many photos and clips of his charming self to friends. Regardless, those enthusiastic fans have spread his images and clips across the internet. “It was a real experience for me, and I tried my best to remove any internet traces…” Benson recalled. He had to think about acting, even considering quitting due to some inappropriate images that surfaced.

In order to regain his confidence, Dan Benson made an important decision: to transition to becoming a “hot” actor. He stated that instead of letting others define him, he decided to “go with the flow,” taking control of his own image rather than allowing others to share it online. At 35 years old, Dan Benson is no longer interested in returning to acting, but he is quite satisfied with his choices.
